| <strong>Description :</strong> | Between 1978 and 1995, the former mathematics professor Theodore John Kaczynski carried out bomb attacks that killed three people and injured 23 others, some seriously. The background to these acts—according to the thesis of this book, which originated as a thesis at the University of Hamburg (International Criminology)—can only be described and understood by considering Kaczynski and his 'Unabomber Manifesto' as "library phenomena": the terrorist as both "reader" and "author." The book outlines a form of terrorism that differs from all other forms of terrorism in that it offers no 'utopia'. |
