An article in the journal of the radical environmental group Earth First! says anti-hunters should buy big-game hunting licenses as a means of preventing nimrods from harvesting wildlife.

An item in the journal’s “Dear Ned Ludd” column of advice for monkeywrenching “ecodefenders” notes that Montana holds annual drawings to distribute licenses for hunting grizzly bears, moose, mountain goats and bighorn sheep.

“Apply for a license issued through a drawing,” commands the article. “If you draw a hunt, buy the license but don’t do the hunt.”
