An item in the journal’s “Dear Ned Ludd” column of advice for monkeywrenching “ecodefenders” notes that Montana holds annual drawings to distribute licenses for hunting grizzly bears, moose, mountain goats and bighorn sheep. “Apply for a license issued through a drawing,” commands the article. “If you draw a hunt, buy the license but don’t do the hunt.”
