Notes on his struggles to access his papers before the auction

November 1, 2005. Tuesday. This morning Ms. Sudlow and Ms Clark (our new counselor) came by, making their rounds. I told Ms. Sudlow that the government was saying that my papers should be sold for their "celebrity" value, therefore they should be kept safe... and Ms. Sudlow interrupted me, saying, "They aren't in that little room any more, they are locked in our office." ...
