Ted Kaczynski’s Correspondence with Bridget Dugan
1. From Ted to Dugan — July 24, 2020
Dear Ms. Dugan,
Yesterday, I received a copy of Leslie Webster & Michelle Brown, The Transformation of the Roman World, A.D. 400–900, which, evidently, you ordered for me. Thank you! I do appreciate it!
I look forward to hearing from you. As you know, I’d love to recruit you to be an anti-teacher.
Yours for Wild Nature,
Ted Kaczynski
P.S. Just a few hours after writing the foregoing note I was pleased to receive your letter of 7/13/20. You know Russian? Good! Very important language. You might want to consider taking up the study of Chinese. I’ll write you more very sorry, but right now I have to finish a long letter to some lawyers who are working to make the BOP (Bureau of Prisons) loosen up some recently-imposed restrictions on prisoners’ communications. — TJK
2. From Ted to Dugan — July 28, 2020
Dear Ms. Dugan,
Or would you prefer to be addressed as Teenage Brat? That would make a cute nom de guerre for an anti-techer. Anyway, I hope to be able to write you more at lenght in the near future, but as usual I have far more to do than I have time for, so in the present note I’ll just give you contact information for a few actual or potential anti-tech people. First there’s Benjamin Lepine, or Lepire, whom I strongly suspect you know already....
