The University of Michigan/Ann Arbor’s Harlan Hatcher Graduate Library has acquired hundreds of letters sent to and from Unabomber Theodore Kaczynski since his arrest in April 1996. Received at no charge, the collection won’t be on public display for about six months, and the names of those who sent Kaczynski letters will be deleted, the Detroit Free Press reported October 15.

Once Kaczynski’s appeals are exhausted, university officials will begin negotiations with federal officials to obtain his writings and diaries, which recount details of the bombings.
